Busy season is almost here, and around Martha My Dear Rentals in Wilmington NC, that means things are getting BUSY behind the scenes! While our clients are dreaming up beautiful weddings and events, our team is working hard to make sure every detail is ready long before event day.

With our new warehouse and a full calendar ahead, we’re taking this time to get organized, refresh our inventory, and make sure we’re ready for whatever the season brings.

Getting Our Inventory Event-Ready

One of the biggest parts of preparing for busy season is making sure every rental is clean, inspected, and ready to go. From chairs and tables to lounge furniture, bars, pillows, linens, and all of our specialty pieces, everything gets attention before it heads out the door.

We want our clients and planners to receive their rentals looking just as beautiful as they imagined them.

Organizing the Warehouse

Our new warehouse has given us so much more room to work, but with more inventory comes more organization!

We’re constantly working on better ways to arrange, label, and store our pieces so our team can find exactly what they need when it’s time to pull an event. An organized warehouse makes a huge difference when we’re preparing multiple events at once and during busy season, efficiency is everything.

Prepping Custom Pieces

One of the things we love most about what we do is creating pieces that are completely unique to an event. Busy season means plenty of custom projects happening behind the scenes!

We’re painting, building, repairing, refreshing, and putting the finishing touches on custom bars, shelving, bookcases, stage facades, and other specialty pieces. There’s always something in progress in the workshop.

Preparing for Event Days

The work doesn’t stop once everything is pulled from the shelves. We’re also preparing our trucks, creating organized load lists, double checking orders, and making sure our team knows exactly where every piece needs to go.

A successful event day starts days or sometimes weeks in advance.

Our goal is to take as much of the stress out of the process as possible so that when we arrive on-site, we’re ready to get to work and bring the vision to life.

Teamwork Makes Busy Season Possible

Busy season is definitely a team effort. From the warehouse to the trucks to the event site, it takes a lot of people working together to make each event happen seamlessly.

We’re so thankful for our hardworking team and the planners, venues, and vendors who trust us with their events. It’s a lot of work, but getting to see everything come together makes it all worth it.
