We recently had the opportunity to bring a new look to Wrightsville Manor with one of our favorite draping installations yet: The Wave Draping by Martha My Dear Rentals. Flowing across the ceiling, this installation completely transformed the reception space, adding softness, movement, and an elevated atmosphere to an already beautiful venue.
Paired with glowing chandeliers, warm candlelight, and thoughtfully designed tablescapes, the finished space was everything we love about a well-designed wedding.
Introducing The Wave Draping
Draping has the ability to completely change the feeling of a room. It can soften architectural features, add dimension to a space, and create an intimate atmosphere without changing the venue itself.
Our Wave Draping brings a beautiful sense of movement through flowing fabric arranged in soft, sweeping lines across the ceiling. Rather than a traditional flat installation, the layered waves create depth and visual interest, drawing the eye upward and making the entire room feel more intentional.

Transforming Wrightsville Manor
Wrightsville Manor provided the perfect setting for this installation.
The flowing ceiling draping added a new layer of design to the reception space, creating a softer, more romantic atmosphere. As the fabric stretched across the ceiling, it helped define the room while bringing all of the other design elements together.
One of our favorite details was seeing how the draping complemented the chandeliers. The warm lighting against the soft fabric created a beautiful glow throughout the room, especially as the evening transitioned into the reception.
With candlelit tables, beautiful florals, and thoughtfully arranged seating, every element worked together to create a space that felt welcoming and elevated.
