There’s something special about a styled shoot. It’s a chance to step away from the logistics of a real wedding day and simply create—to dream up a setting, play with textures and colors, and see how different pieces come together in a beautiful space.

Recently, we had the opportunity to do just that alongside Kickstand Events at Oak & Fennel Farm, and the result was a day full of thoughtful details, beautiful design, and plenty of inspiration.

Bringing the Vision Together

Oak & Fennel Farm provided the perfect backdrop for the shoot. With its natural surroundings and relaxed, timeless setting, the property allowed us to lean into a design that felt elevated while still feeling organic and inviting.

Working alongside Kickstand Events, we wanted to create something that showcased how the right rental pieces can completely transform a space.

We were so excited to incorporate some of our newest pieces, including our Collins Chairs, Walnut Willow Chairs, White Wishbone Chairs, Tobias Tables, Leighton Bookcase, Harry Half Oval Bar, Spencer Bookcase, Cove Banquettes, and Sloane Lounge with the Atlas Coffee table!

The Martha My Dear Details

One of our favorite parts of any styled shoot is getting to play with our inventory in ways that show off its versatility.

Specialty rentals have the ability to add dimension, texture, and personality to a wedding design. A beautiful table creates the foundation, while chairs, bars, lounges, and other statement pieces help build out the overall experience.

For this shoot, we were able to showcase how our pieces can work together to create a cohesive design while still allowing the natural beauty of the venue to shine.

It was also a great opportunity to see how some of our favorite pieces photograph in a completely different setting.

Designing for the Guest Experience

A beautiful wedding isn't just about what guests see—it's about how the space feels when they walk into it.

Thoughtfully designed seating areas encourage guests to linger. A well-designed dining space creates a sense of intimacy. And specialty pieces throughout the reception help guide guests through the experience while making the entire celebration feel intentional.
