Our Jan/February Featured Vendor: Design A Dream Events!

February may have been the shortest month of the year but it was anything short of style in our Showroom since Design A Dream Events stopped by to help us decorate! I first met Jana back when our business started in 2015 and she was then and still is a ray of bright, positive sunshine. From the first styled shoot we did together in all white (see it here) you can tell this lady not only has an eye for pretty but is dreamy too.

Here are some questions we asked her…  

Tell us about you do in the wedding world?

We are a full service wedding & event planning company that provides many different packages to help accommodate each client.  We set ourselves apart from other companies in order to never allow events to be alike, and to execute a design and product that will turn all your dreams into a reality!

What’s the best part of your job?

The best part is being apart of such a special day that two individuals will share for the rest of their lives!  We also love the set up and design, but most importantly, revealing the final product to our clients.  It’s truly priceless as it’s always more than they would have ever expected, and that’s a wonderful feeling!

Explain the design/theme you put together in our showroom?

Our design and style for the showroom was based around a winter season (January & February), and we wanted the room to feel sultry, warm, classy, and welcoming.  

What’s your current favorite item from the Martha My Dear Rentals collection?

Our current favorite item from Martha My Dear Rentals would have to be the new blue and pink lounge pieces that we actually used in our showroom design.  It screams moody, luxurious, and sultry - which is exactly what we were going for!

Any advice, words of wisdom for couples that are planning their wedding and considering adding our service to what you do?

Don’t ever underestimate what a specialty piece of furniture can do for your big day, whether it’s a bar, a dessert display, memory table, lounge area, etc.  These pieces can make the biggest statement on your day, without breaking the bank.  Booking a few (or a lot) of specialty pieces also tells your guests that your design was well thought out and not just thrown together!
